BIO-24AD-IRF Smart PIR Sensor Controller

A configurable standalone PIR lighting-control module: 100% on detection, automatic PWM dimming to standby brightness when idle. An optional 2.4GHz RF multi-group network scales it to wide-area control of up to 40 groups.

Hardware

Operation — standalone mode

Standby (20–30% brightness) → detection (1 s fade-in) → 100% hold → return (1 s fade-out). Hold time and detection range tune on site via remote.

RF NETWORK

RF multi-group network (option)

Up to 40 wire-free groups over 2.4GHz RF. One detection lights the whole group; repeater relay retransmits signals past corners and obstacles; re-detection before switch-off extends the whole group's hold time (recount).

Key features

01

Smart PWM dimming

100% on detection; 0/10/20/30% standby brightness when idle.

02

Tunable time & range

Hold 10–90 s (4 steps), detection radius 2.0–8.0 m (4 steps) — set by remote.

03

Soft lighting

1-second fade in/out on every transition, minimizing glare and eye strain.

04

SOS emergency mode

Emergency lighting via SOS input; supports maintenance and emergency power scenarios.

05

Large-scale grouping

Base channel (0–4) × group key (1–8) = up to 40 independent groups, no wiring.

06

Repeater relay

Retransmits received RF signals to extend range and eliminate blind spots.

07

Smart recount

Re-detection before switch-off automatically extends the whole group's hold time.

08

Manual override

Remote 100% ON / 0% OFF ignores the sensor for maintenance work.

Remote interface

Everything tunes from the remote — standby brightness (0–30%), hold time (10/30/60/90 s), detection range (2/4/6/8 m), group assignment (1–40), fade on/off and factory reset. The fixture blinks to confirm each command.

Frequently asked questions

Q. What is the detection range?

The detection range is selectable by remote among 2 m / 4 m / 6 m / 8 m, tuned on site to the mounting height and aisle width.

Q. How do I set the hold time and standby brightness?

Hold time is 10 / 30 / 60 / 90 s and standby brightness (standby PWM) is 0–30%, both set by remote. Instead of switching fully off when idle, the fixture can hold a low brightness for safety and energy savings.

Q. How many RF groups can it control?

With the optional 2.4GHz RF multi-group feature it addresses up to 40 groups, so one sensor's detection can trigger every fixture in the same group.

Q. Can settings be changed without wiring?

Yes. With no physical wiring, the dedicated remote sets detection range, hold time, standby brightness, group assignment, Fade On/Off and reset. The fixture blinks to confirm each setting.

Q. Does it support soft dimming and an emergency (SOS) mode?

Yes. It supports soft dimming (Fade On/Off) for smooth brightness transitions and an SOS emergency lighting mode.

Q. Are samples or OEM development available?

Yes. BIO Electronics supplies the sensor module standalone and offers luminaire OEM/ODM (firmware and detection-parameter tuning), with datasheet download and sample requests welcome.
